The Dangerous Days of Daniel X

The Dangerous Days of Daniel X is the beginning of the Daniel X series. It is an amazing book that is written by James Patterson. It is roughly about an alien boy that must defend the Earth from aliens that are called “Outer Ones”. His real goal in the series is to kill the alien that murdered his parents. I would suggest this book for sixth through eighth graders, but over that the book is just way to easy. The writing of this book is excellent, but not very challenging. The only problem with this book is that, like his other series, James Patterson is going to continue writing until the main plot of the book is to stop global warming. I think that that is a great cause, just not a very book subject. One thing that I liked about the book is that the main character can conjure anything with his imagination. One of the most frequent items he conjures is friends and family. I believe that James Patterson’s message is that even when on the brink of death you can still find hope and win the battle.

The Lost Hero

Rick Riordan had held us captive waiting for the first book in his second series about the mysterious demigods of Camp Half-Blood, and he doesn’t disappoint. The Lost Hero is a perfect blend of what all the readers of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series loved: action, adventure, fantasy, and a surplus of humor. Since the setting is only 1 year after The Last Olympian, it is a series continuation of Percy Jackson, with new characters. I recommend this book to anyone who has read The Lightning Thief, as well as those that didn’t.

Demonata:Lord Loss is a horrer book filled with blood and gore. It also has lots of violence and suspence. Lord Loss is filled with magic and werewolves. Demons also play an important part in this awsome book. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate it a 10. Lord Loss is an awsome book that any horrer fan should read.
